After much, much research here and otherwise, we drove across the country for a 2022 CPO TRD Pro Sequoia with impeccable service record. It's absolutely incredible and I love everything about it. Except one thing: I have a neck injury and the side view mirrors stick out pretty far, and I'm 5'2" so I have to sit far up to the dash causing me a lot of trouble with actually safely turning as far as I need to in the right side mirror.

It's so 100% dumb, we were so busy evaluating the ride's impact on my neck (which is none bc the ride is smooth as butter) that I never noticed this issue for me before buying it.

I don't know what to do, I'm honestly considering selling this fabulous vehicle bc either I'm going to damage my neck or not look well enough when changing lanes bc it hurts and wreck.

What we've considered: 1. extend steering wheel to max and get extensions for the pedals so I can sit further back, moving the mirror a little more in front of my field of vision rather than off to the side. That might do a little. I'll be further from the HVAC/radio controls etc but I guess it's ok. 2. Add secondary blind spot monitoring that will beep at me when I turn on my blinker but I read these are not dependable/only register short distances/only kick on at higher speeds 3. Add another mirror closer in than the standard mirror so I can see my blind spot without looking so far over. I'm not sure how that would work out, and if it did I wouldn't be seeing my factory blind spot monitor which is a bummer.

Can I replace my side view mirrors with a more compact style from an entirely different vehicle? Land cruiser? I've seen crazy things done to vehicles, I don't know if this is possible.

I'm so utterly devastated about this. I would really appreciate if you could give me any advice.

Could always add a Birdseye view system to your factory radio screen. Would give you 4 cameras and would project a top view of the car and surroundings. They work awesome long as you don't get a really cheap system and make sure the reviews are real. Takes about 6 to 12 hours to install and set up
