Sorry for posting over here, Tundra guys! Since my truck is practically a Tundra, I thought you wouldn't mind. I have a '97 SR5 T-100 X-tra cab 4X4. It sees a little jobsite action, but mostly the highway. It's due for shocks. I'm spoiled by my double cab long bed Tacoma Sport. Very cushy ride! Could anyone recommend a shock that would fit the bill? I have a few long trips on the schedule.

Rarely does an aftermarket shock offer softer ride...usually they go firmer, or at most match the stock ride. I did come across one expensive shock, Edelbrock IAS, that did give a slightly softer ride versus stock, on a Chev anyway, but I am not sure this is offered on your model.
