Sonar system problem-2007 Tundra SR5

Hi folks. A few months ago, I noticed a problem with the sonar (parking assist) sensor system on my 2007 Tundra SR5. My vehicle only has four sensors; two in the front bumper and two in the rear. What happened was that the sonar indicator array on the dash began showing (I assume) that there is a problem with the right front (passenger side) sensor. When I start the truck, the little yellow light for this right front sensor begins flashing and there is a beeping sequence that consists of five “double beeps.” After that, the indicator for this right front sensor stays illuminated on the dash. While all this is occurring, the entire sensor system does not work at all (in other words, no beeps occur when the truck gets too close to an object). When I drive, whenever I come to a stop or even slow down to just a few miles per hour, the entire light flashing/five double beep sequence begins again. So…I ordered a new (OEM Toyota part) sensor and retainer, thinking it would solve the problem. It did not. I’m now wondering if there is some sort of “learning” procedure that I need to do with Techstream or some other software to get this new sensor to work (does anyone know if in fact there even is a module for the sonar system in Techstream?). I guess there’s also the possibility that there is some other problem, but with that single right front sonar light being the one that is flashing on the dash, I just assumed that was the part that I’d need. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
