After reading extensive threads on soundproofing and how addictive it is, I've already become savvy and wide-eyed.
I must say beautiful looking work to TS members AgentWD-40, Tundra-Gearhead, and JnEsPappa.:tu: :tu: :tu:
I am prepping to install new speakers from Pheonix Gold front and rear. Maybe I'll install the speakers first and take measurements, then soundproof another date. I drive it daily and don't have a nice garage to do renovations enclosed.
But, I was driving today and thought...
It's already so quiet in here!!! It's a 2005 SR5, the most noise I can hear is coming from the tires through the floor. How much quieter could it be?
To what extent did you guys do the soundproofing in the first place...Was it for outside noise coming in or inside noise leaking out?

I found some stuff on ebay for about $90/50sq.ft. and on McMasterCarr for about $26/10.4sq.ft. The price difference is about $35 cheaper from ebay. Is the quality the same? It's Dynamat(ebay) vs. McMasterCarr brand.

I'm scared of the Pringles effect.... once you pop you can't stop!
