Does the 07 Tundra have a TPMS sensor in the spare?
I don't think so. I recently replaced my stock styled steel wheels with the SR5 alloys. Except for the spare. Since the TPMS' are not compatible I had to buy 4 new ones. I brought them to the dealer to have them reprogrammed before I had them installed. They used the techstream computer for this and it cost me $56.00. I drove around a couple of days with the low tire pressure light on. Once I had the new TPMS' installed with the new rims I'm now good to go. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the spare tire has a TPMS. Unless the Techstream computer can recognize this.

Thanks all. I'm getting my oem sensors installed into my aftermarket wheels/tires & wasn't sure. And I would prefer to remove my spare myself vs someone else.

I always thought it did. My dad's 08 Taco had the tire pressure light come on but none of the 4 touching the ground were low. Tire shop said it was the spare that went flat.
