I have a 2004 Tundra. I saw on here to replace the factory front door speakers I needed to buy an adapter called SAT6. I got them today and I have 6.5 inch speakers and I'm having problems fitting the adapter to the speaker. Any help would be sweet!!! Thanks a lot.

What speakers are you trying to install and how are they different than OEM speakers? I installed some Boston Acoustic speakers with three mounting holes and I had to screw into the plastic of the OEM speaker mount. They hold up perfectly if you go slow and carefully screw in.

they are 6.5 Kenwoods. They are a little smaller than the stock speakers. I couldn't find any stock speakers to put in there. The dealership wanted $354 per speaker for a stock replacement. I couldn't find any thing to just screw in. So I bought an adapter to put the 6.5 in. The adapter doesn't fit anywhere in the stock mounting location, so I'm have a buddy of mine build a box for the 6.5 and tweeter to go in.
