My dealer told me it is only available in regular cab for now, and it will be offered in the DC. Don't know about the Crew Cab.
and nothing looks worse than the SAP bumper with a tacky bolt on hitch hanging down that u have to do if u want to actually use your truck for toys...
I've never seen this message before...I have "normal" bumpers and they are black. If you don't want to paint your parts, you can ask the dealer for "work truck" bumpers, grille, door handles, etc.
BTW, I have been seeing a LOT of this screen lately...
Anybody else think the server is overloaded?
ive never done it before, its just what i have read on this site, from someone else doing it. but i most certainly will go have a look now. cause what you are saying doesnt make a lot of sense on toyotas part, if this is true. i know the hitch is integrated into the frame. but the only thing that should be integrated to the bumper, is the receptacle for the trailer plug.Oh, and you might want to crawl under the back and look at the setup. IIRC, my hitch was integrated with the rear bumper...no reason to trim cuz you lose the hitch when you lose the bumper. Is this new for 2010?...or is the SAP rear bumper compatible with the existing hitch setup??
I looked again after posting the last message. The hitch is part of the bumper brackets on mine. As long as the two bumper "skins" attach to the brackets the same, it may work, but I'd want to be sure before I started buying parts. My trailer receptacle is mounted on the hitch, not the bumper.ive never done it before, its just what i have read on this site, from someone else doing it. but i most certainly will go have a look now. cause what you are saying doesnt make a lot of sense on toyotas part, if this is true. i know the hitch is integrated into the frame. but the only thing that should be integrated to the bumper, is the receptacle for the trailer plug.
