Howdy Gentlemen,
I can not seem to get the castle nut off of my passenger control arm, it seems to be seized pretty bad!
I've tried a 24" breaker bar, PB Blaster, extended it 2 more feet with a cheater bar. Took a propane torch to it and rented an 18v Makita impact from home depot, that didn't budge it. At this point, I'm not sure if I should cut it off. Am I at risk of hurting other things if I wail on it more?
The tie rod and sway bar are off, but the caliper is still on. I'm replacing the LCA and UCA ball joints entirely and had only planned to reuse the steering knuckle, maybe there is a better way?
