I just finished replacing the broken 3rd leaf spring on the driver's side, and changed the shocks all around (Rancho). I didn't realize you can buy each leaf individually, because I didn't want to spend the money for both full sets.

The ride was smoother and the truck behaved better on rough roads. I then added the $26 helper springs from Advance Auto. I had them on my 90 Mazda B2600 for 8 years and loved them. I noticed the same ride qualities on the Tundra. The truck doesn't lean as much in turns and feels planted to road.

I still have to work on the rear brakes and try figure out what to do with the load proportioning valve. I don't think the rear brakes are doing much stopping right now.
