ok, just replaced both of my sway bar links after having one break. the problem is "how tight", does anyone now the torque specs?(2004 double cab 4wd...) thanks guys

Anytime you install a suspension component, you torque to final values while the vehicle is still off the suspension, but you always recheck torque 1. after the vehicle has been dropped, and 2. after a few hundred miles.
What about bolts that become tighter after lowering the vehicle back to the ground? Do you back those off then retorque? If so, shouldn't all bolts be tightened to some percentage of full torque then torqued to specification while on the ground to avoid over torquing?
