Hello,
I’ve found videos of how to get rid of your DRL on your first gen tundra by just simply unplugging a connection found next to the battery. However, I am going to be installing switchback headlights and I was wondering if I unplug this will the amber work as a turn signal still? Retrofit Source has a chip that’s around $70 that plug into the connector and it is an apparent ‘delete relay’ which they say is “required” to run switchbacks. My question is if I absolutely have to buy this $70 add-on to run my switchbacks, or if I can get away with just unplugging the connection?
