It's been a while since I've been on here.....but here I am again with news.
My mighty DC died.
On Christmas Eve it ran out of power and died.
I think it has a stuck intake valve because of the noises coming thru the intake box.
No over heating.
No oil in the water or water in the oil.
It has a cylinder with low or no compression, you can hear it when it cranks.
Dang......now I need to find a good used motor or sell it "as is".
It did go to 330,000 miles with NO major problems or failures!
Anyone interested in buying it?

What year? How much? Where is it? I probably can’t use it because mine is pre vvt so I don’t think I can swap mine into it unfortunately. I need something with 4 doors though. My tag says DC but it’s a mistake, I have an Access Cab truck.

It is a 2004 TRD Off Road Double Cab, 4.7 V8, Auto, 4X4. It has new brakes, recent new fuel pump, Unichip, Tru Flow Air Cleaner, Total Chaos Upper Control Arms, the front end has been re-built with Toyo parts recently; new lower control arms, lower ball joints, front coil over springs and new Bilstein front shocks. Magnaflow Muffler. Good tires. The body has no rust but a few dents and scrapes. Inside is very clean. It also has the Limo rear window. Everything except the motor worked when it died on 24 Dec. 4X4, rear LSD, AC, everything. I live in the SoCal mountains, North of Los Angeles. It's probably worth $4500.00.

Okay. May be a bit out of my range especially being in California. I’m in Oklahoma so it’s a bit of a drive especially with a trailer

the 100k fully built block with whatever yours broke, alone valuable to you. 85% of the truck holds a spare you may need somewhere in the next 100k. 100 k trans is worth $1000 - now, $1500 if you can prove it shifts, $2000 or more to you if you drive it for a bit and trust it. Bunch of shit you can sell or donate or take to a junkyard for $100= $1000. Somebody wants the rear parking brake/disc setup, somebody needs the transmission. Somebody wants the rear seats you don't need for cheaper than a recover at a shop. I see 2004 sequoias once a month with lower miles and 2-3K less asking price than a tundra, plus you get to drive it all and fix the issues, while it is assembled and it can be tested/diagnosed/repaired before committing it to your truck.
