Tundra with 17" rims
Choices : BFG long trail 275-60-17 near stock diameter or
Nitto Terra Grappler 265-70-17 1.5" larger diameter

Which do you guys like more?

Another tire choice

I'm a fan of Yokohama. I've used them on a number of pickups, and cars. Seem to be big improvement over OEM. I have Yoks on my Tundra now, they work great, are priced way less than most. With a 500 treadwaer rating, I expect to get a lot of miles out of them....

It's not a 4x4, just a standard cab Tundra. The Nittos look better. I am just a little worried about the 265-70-17 fitting well with the larger outside diameter.

265/70/17 should fit with no problem. i have seen them on before and it fits the wheel well perfectly. stock size is 265/65/17. stock size for 16's are 265/70/16 and you can fit a 265/75/16's. same idea, just making your tire approx 1" taller and your speedo off.

Not sure on that brand fitting, but I just put on Cooper Discoverer ATRs 265/70/R17's with no problems at all! The bigger size tire really helps fill that rear wheel well and makes it look like a real truck!
