To disable Homelink while ignition is off

Can the Homelink be disabled while the ignition is off?

We programmed the Homelink to open the garage, but it still works when the truck is off. This is a concern since the truck is outside. If someone were to break into the truck, they would have access to the garage.

Thanks

Why I never programmed the Homelink. Even though my Tundra goes in the garage, sometimes I leave it out overnight for some reason (I bring the garage door opener remote in the house).
pintnight would you like to sell your homelink mirror ?:) :)

I would ship you my mirror.

let me know
Dave
Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just lock the doors of your truck when you leave it outside?

yeah, except if you left the window open.

i am fairly certain you can probe the harness that the mirror draws power from, and re-route power to that wire to one that is turned on with the acc from the ignition. I am not going to get into the correct way to do this with relays and stuff.. Fact is if you dont know that it can be done, you cant do it. If you know how to do it, you wouldnt ask this question.
