So.... I got into a pickle today and had to reverse over a rather large sage brush. Didn't think it would do anything to the truck.... Does anybody know what the easiest way to fix this is? As is sits now, I have used bailing wire to keep it form hanging. I'd rather not live with this option...:td:

Point taken... Don't get me wrong, I really don't do that... However, I had two options: Get stuck or take out Artemisia tridentata. I opted for A. tridentata.

Besides, if you really are an advocate of sage...lets rap! I'm a biologist...and can give a million reasons why sage is suffocating our rangelands....anyway...neither here nor there...

I'm not sure how to fix it, but I had to buy the harness from Toyota (used car lot removed it to put on another truck) and I cost me about $300 Canadian. I wish you luck in figuring it out.

Wow. Cheapest I haved found is $287 before shipping. Boo. Gues I'll live with it. It is still functional as a connector.

Go to walmart and look for the same plug setup. Go splice the new plug to the old wiring and be done.
This is what I would do, with the exception of finding a nice high quality connector @ a trailer supply store. $300 for a harness & connector is a joke.

Clean everything up with alcohol ... straight, not rubbing alcohol ... apply a bead of JB Weld ... let it set overnight ... good to go.

Not sure if it's the same or not but I have a new wiring harness for a 2000 Tundra that I never installed. Traded in on a 2006 4 years ago, never installed it on the 2000.

If its a 7 pin and you have the mounting bracket attached to it, then lemme know! I might take it if it's a sweet heart deal!

I think they should be identical, but worse case scenario you can pull pins out and put yours in
EDIT: I am 90% positive that it will work with your truck (since Lexus GX, LX, Toy Sequoia Tundra) have same connectors, so why would Tacoma change theirs?
