Hey! I'm new to the forum and was hoping you might be able to help me with a problem. I have searched all over the internet trying to find a Toyota EPC (electronic parts catalogue).
I'm a little hesitant about downloading it from one of the file sharing sites due to possible virus infection and I don't know exacty what I would receive if I ordered the CD or DVD available on some websites and ebay.
Does anyone have any experience with any of the downloadable or disk formats, and if so, what site did you use. I found toyotdiy.com and only wish it still had the diagrams.
I'm not looking for a specific part. More I want to be able to write up my own list of parts when I go to the Toyota shop so I don't have to deal with the incompetant parts guys here. The last time I went in I asked for replacement crush washers for my transfer case and both front and rear differentials. The parts guy came out with 4 crush washers and told me they were for the transfer case and rear differential. I told him I needed the ones for the front differential also, to which he replied, "the front differential? Does your Tundra have a solid front axle? There is only the rear differential and the transfer case up front where the front transaxles connect." I wanted to tell him that one of us should be working the parts counter, but it isn't him.
That is why I would like to have access to the exploded diagrams and part numbers. It also allows some insight before the tear down.
