Tried the search, and nothing really was said, but does anyone here think that the TPS (tire pressure sensor) is able to be turned off by Toyota techs via Toyota software? my sensor goes on about once every two weeks...I just drive to the wall closest to my stock wheels re-program, and then I am fine again......

I've tried asking the service dept to turn it off and they won't - I run custom 20 evo wheels during Spring, Summer and Fall and didn;t bother messing with the sensors.

I did come up with a low budget solution though - take out the two screws holding the plexiglass shield in front of the instruments and place a black sticker the size of a dime over the LED that flashes at you. Problem solved :)
