Just purchased a 2004 with 91k and I have a question. After starting up and shifting to drive there is a vibration that goes through the steering wheel, I shift back to park and it goes away. This is all time it never goes away. Does anyone one have an answer???? My first Tundra and am wondering if it is normal..it doesn't feel normal. Thank You:(

Apparently a common 'feature' (Toyota won't call it a problem). Mine has done it since day 1, as have many other's trucks on this board. When the vibration goes away, then I'll be worried...

I have an '04 DC LTD w/71k and do not have any vibrations from the stearing wheel upon start-up. I'd have someone check the trans mounts and linkage. I've read that some owners have problems with the linkage from the shifter to the transmission.
