I have a 2003 Highlander (4cyl, 2wd). I was recently told my passenger side brake light was out. Replaced upper and lower clear bulbs (not back up/not turn signal) and realized upon further inspection that my tail lights are working on driver side only - brake lights are not working on either side (the 3rd brake light is working - above the hatch). The back-up lights are working on both sides. Would like to avoid taking in to the dealer (too much $$$$) - this site showed me how to fix my intermittent a/c problem (thanks!) but couldn't find anything about troubleshooting why my lights aren't working....any ideas?

Much appreciated! :ts:

I think I got it figured out...the one light was not screwed in tightly enough (didn't even take that one out - it must have jostled loose over time). Now the top driver's side brake light isn't working (but I think it just needs another bulb change). Will go get one tomorrow.
