My back up sensor stopped working even tho I was looking I bumped a tree dented bumper.
Can someone help with what to do about it not working. Is it a warranty issue because it's not working and the tundra is 6 months old. Yes I count on it working and I do look around and take responsibility for my driving, but I did count on this working just saying..

Should be no reason for it not to be under warranty. You should have bumper to bumper for 36 000 miles. That being said they are turned on right? My 2012 has a button on the dash to turn them on and off. Make sure its on and if it is, test it them. Have someone put the truck in reverse and put move your hand closer to each sensor. You should hear a tone go from a beep and get steadily faster till a solid tone is heard when an object is about 12 inches away. This will be explained in your owners manual.
