Got in my 08 tundra the other day and the wipers wouldn't work so, I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced it , turned them on again, and the fuse immediately blew again. It's hard to believe that a vehicle this new is having wiring probems. Has anyone had this problem or know of a fix???

The fuse is blowing because you are drawing too many amps. This means that either the wiper motor is shot, or there is a wire or switch shorting out. Before you buy any parts look over the wiring and see if there are any damaged wires. Then try an ohm meter across the motor ans see if there is any resistance, or not.

Here's a 35-page pdf extract of the wiper system from a Service Manual.

EDIT: Not a picture. It's a pdf. Don't know why this forum software keeps getting it wrong.

Another simple test to rule things out would be to disconnect the power to the motor, replace the fuse and turn it on. If it blows, a good indication that it is in the wiring or switch. If not, good indication that it is the motor.
