The service manager suggested turning the stock air intake around for a cheap gain in mileage. Anybody tried this?

The KN intake seems to be questionable. Is a K&N replacement air filter worthwhile?

Stock tires at 36 psi. RolllnLock Tonneau.

My Tundras is amazing, though I don't know if I'll put it to good enough use.

Thank you,;)

I don't understand what he means by turning it around but interested doing it.

Service manager is probably an older fellow. Sounds like the old lid flipping thing from carbureted small block Chev days. It certainly gives more cross sectional filter area exposure, but it gets hot underhood air.
