Got hit by a car in the right front wheel. Replaced lower control arm, lower ball joint. Trying to install new upper control arm with new bolt. Original bolt was bent from wreck and I had to cut it and beat it out. New bolt seems too long... Hitting fender well and I can't line it up to go through. Any tips?

Here is a good video showing the step by step removal and installation.
Plus he gives you all the torque specs. 1stgenoffroad has great install videos. Do you have a part number or spec on that bolt?

That is a great video. Unfortunately for me, it shows the bolt coming out and going back in without too much trouble (other than he had to free up the rusted washer). I need about another 1/4" clearance. Now I'm thinking maybe my fender is a little bit misshapen after the wreck.

Anyway, I bought upper control arm part # was 4861034010 used off ebay and it came with the bolt.
