210,000km, 2008

This is with some fresh differential fluid, when I apply the brake essentially to only one side of my rear end while idling, this noise in the video appears. An opinion I got was that it's normal and that's just the gears spooling up and spinning fast when the one side is stopped compensating.

Any idea? Are differentials silent? Or do they make noises like this.
