OOPs!! Maybe I goofed. This is a Tundra only forum ?? If so, I will gracefully bow out. Sorry abt. that
No, it isn't a Tundra-only site :)

New guy

Hello I just got a 2007 Tundra/5.7L/DC/Texas Edition/Sport/Black and I thought I would stop in and say hi. I am loving this truck, it gets me hyped like a high school kid. I had been driving a 95 Toyota 4runner that I bought new back in 95'. It has time to move on after 150,000 miles and 12 years. I have a question, has any one priced or looked around for aftermarket hitches? The sport package did not come with a hitch so I was going to find one from hidden hitch or others and install it my self.
Ohh by the way the 4runner is for sale if any one is interested:) . Here are some pics of the new toy.

Re: Welcome to Texas Tundra Country! - New Members Please Introduce Yourself Here!

I think we've got ourselves an imposter here. Oops its me another damn yankee that has jumped the border to the south an has stolen one of yalls women. (Actually she's a cajun, but for that Blazing Saddles satire type comedy just go along with it.)

Yah I know its corny, but I had to come up with something. Had a couple Toyotas, but I dont at this moment. Looking at getting a Tundra Crew Max, but I'm still do some research on them. I haven't heard anyone talk about what kind of mileage they're getting with the new engine or with the Crew Max. Oh, and I need to find the right dealer too. Anyone know any in the DFW area or Austin for that matter let me know. I'm wondering what kind of saving my Toyota "H" plan will get me through where I work. Only other thing I can think of is to become buddies with someone at the plant down south to try and get a friends and family discount. That'd be nice.

Almost forgot go Steelers!!!

Hey guys, just subscribed because I really liked what I saw.

I picked up my '07 Tundra in April and its by far my favorite Tundra model ever. I got the V6 DoubleCab, white in color, has a skid plate (don't know if thats standard or not but I thought it was cool). I work out of my house so my new baby doesn't get much drive time except for fishing at Ray Roberts Lake and trips to Lowes.

I'm up in horse country (Aubrey, TX)

Hey everyone! I'm located in Houston, TX and I bought my new Tundra in March. I couldn't be more thrilled with this truck. I'm working on what to mod on the truck, but for now she's stock + some TRD goodies. I'm pretty new to the forums so I'll see y'all around here from time to time. :):tu:

Here's a pic of my other baby.

Great Forum here! I was just searching for one like this and there is a lot of good information here!

Just bought my Titan 5.7 single cab work/play truck on 07-07-07 and LOVE IT! I have always been a Chevy man but after test driving the new 07 Tundra, I am a changed man.

Some really good looking pickups on here! Here is a picture of mine and it's kind of plain compared to some of yours but I love it none the less!

Just joined, still waiting on my crewmax 5.7, texas edition w/20" wheels in black. Didn't really want black but the company said they would help pay for it if I got black, so I love black and I know it will look cool no matter how hot it gets!

Hey...how's everybody doin'? It's thebiggun from Southeast Texas (Lumberton) way. I have been a 2007 Tundra owner since my purchase on July 5, 2007. I have been watching the development of these beauties since the first hints of their existence. Finally, Community Toyota in Baytown came up with the correct combination to 'cause me to drop the serious cash to get what I wanted...AND I'M LOVIN' THIS TRUCK!!! I've been posting for a bit under the main section and just noticed the Texas thread. Nice to visit with folks close to home.
Thanx for the opportunity!:ts:

Hey guys! I will be moving to Austin this coming weekend with my 2003 Tundra TRD 4x2. I'm totally looking forward to the move and taking out my baby for her first long road trip. She only has about 2,500 miles on her and yes, they are the original miles! :) Looking forward to join the Texas Tundra Solutions group. I will miss my California group but heck, we are all the same. Same passion for the love of our Tundras! Hope to meet new faces in Texas! :)

Howdy,
well, missus had a WAY high mileage Avalanche and was a Cheby freak.

Well, after some persuading (I am orig. from UK and Know Toyota reliabilty/build/quality) I got her to try a Tundra.

Long story short, Sunday helped her get a 2007 Crewmax Limited/MoonRoof/Nav loaded Dark Blue with grey leather. Only couple hundred miles but she is LOVING it!

Then I got abit jealous. I had a 2004 RX8 loaded with 30,000 miles full service and me from new. GREAT car but tiresome with keeping up with oil levels and not best thing for Texas roads.

So today, I bought myself a SR5 DblCab in White with JBL (as loved her bluetooth capability) and TRD package!(inc. backup cam).

I love hers inside (all toys) but mine looks WAY better from outside  lol

Both getting spray in liners and gonna put hard tonneau on hers eventually.

Mine, well I miss my leather (had 3 superspews from Bord, never again! The 100th Anniv. Supercharged Harley I had had NO quality control at all it appeared!!!!!!!!!!, Infiniti FX and RX8, all with leather) so thinking getting aftermarket two-tone Katzkin installed. Any recommended dealers/installers?

Cheers,
Nick
