well anyone? I tried to search and couldnt find it yet either here or on the interweb. like what series is this engines # like the 1st gen. Tundra had the 2UZFE.

I think it's a 3UR-FE. All new engine designed from the ground up for the 2007 Tundra. Here's a photo of the emissions sticker from under the hood:

While it's a new motor, isn't it just a continuation of the lexus motors? Hence the 3 designation and not a 1.

1UR-FSE = 4.6 liter in 07 Lexus LS460

2UR-FSE = 5.0 liter in 07 Lexus LS600h and 08 Lexus IS-F

3UR-FE = 5.7 liter in 07 Tundra

FE = Electronic Fuel Injection
FSE = Electronic Direct Fuel Injection (in cylinder fuel injection)

The UR is the new generation of V8 that shares similar architecture to the GR family of V6 engines (06 Tacoma, Lexus IS, etc)
