That looks funny on there, I guess it would be good if moose were running around all over the place!

It looks like he crashed into a fence got it stuck to the bumper and then just left it on there.

That's odd....I thought this thread was about a bull bar. After looking, all I saw was a gaurd rail welded to the front of the truck. lol. That thing is WAY too much!

Certainly isn't my favorite, but it does look pretty stout... Some more pics

Notice teh truck's being lifted off the ground - a measure of the mounting brackets (which is the weakest link in any bumper design).

On that note, they may not be pretty but DAMN those things are stout.

Why is *BANDIT BAR* SIMPLY THE WORLDS BEST?

BANDIT BAR is light weight - A typical flat top pick-up bumper and bar weighs 118 lbs, weight varies with model.
BANDIT BAR is strong - Bumper is made of 6061 T6 aluminum (ultimate tensile strength 45,000psi)
-Bumper is stationary allowing for extra strong internal frame mounts and bracing so maximum strength for colision under and over ride protection is provided for the pickup.
-Bar is made of 6061 T6 aluminum (1/4" on flange and web of post , 1 1/2" sch 80 (1/4" wall) pipes) used extensively in the aircraft industry as it is the same strength as mild steel and is designed to take high impact loads and vibrations. This aluminum is very hard to form which is good when a pick-up hits something it does not form. That is why the pipe cannot be formed to make hoops on the corners. With a bernell hardness of 95, once the bar has been polished it holds its shine much better than other aluminum.
BANDIT BAR tow hooks -The integrated tow hooks are engineered to pull on the collision bar's internal frame mounts. The mounts go 8" into the frame,. The fully ajustable mounts, both up and down and side to side, held together with 14 1/2" grade 8 bolts means whether you are pulling, being pulled or taking a collision the stress flows into the frame smoothly.
BANDIT BAR four post design -Bandit Bar is only made with a four post design as most animal collisions happen on the corners and that is where the strength is needed!
Bandit Bar negative Rake -Bandit Bars all have a negative rake (angled ahead). This is engineered to use the animal's and pick-ups energy to propel the offending animal away from the pick-up not up and onto or around the side and into the hood.
Bandit Bar width -Bandit Bars are wider than the pick-up so it takes the impact and can deflect it away from the pick-up
Bandit Bar looks -Each Bandit Bar is designed to maintain the factory appearance of the truck. Enhancing not detracting from the looks of the pick-up.
Bandit Bar safety -In new vehicles the air bag deployment is controlled by decelerometers. Bandit Bar collision bars will not affect a decelerometers deployment of the air bag. In fact it has been proven a Bandit Bar is strong enough to withstand a head on collision deflecting the offending vehicle reducing the energy transfer and reducing the severity of the collision, everyone walked away.

They might actually have a need for those in certain places north of the lower 48.

Well it is built to take out a moose, or drive through a brick wall im thinking but, im sure your truck will be quite well protected with that thing on there.

I would like to have two of those: one to take a dump on, and one to cover it up with
