The recall info for ball joints has some slightly interesting information in it that I just noticed: Number of Tundras by state effected by the recall.

The total number of 2004-2006 Tundras is listed as 378,500 trucks. See the thread stugotz started for all the numbers. Here are the biggies:

1 - California: 90,043 Tundras
2 - Texas: 39,323
3 - Florida: 36,133
4 - Georgia: 16,530
5 - N. Carolina: 13,316
6 - Louisiana: 19,936
7 - Arizona: 9,464
8 - Virginia: 8,991
9 - Washington: 8,642

and I notice Hawaii is missing -- I'm sure there are a few Tundras running around on the islands. Big surprise: The District of Columbia number is small! :clown:

Its also interesting that the northern states haven't been mentioned.

All states except Hawaii are on the main list--with North and South Dakota being the only places with less than 1000--other than DC. And FWIW that total for LA should be 10,936 (still a big number).

Hey you guys would be surprised at the amount of Toyota trucks here in Hawaii. Toyota dominates here. That's why I love this island soooo much!!! :D

OK, I'll continue for a while:

10 - S. Carolina: 7,957
11 - Alabama: 7,881
12 - Massachusetts: 7,297
13 - Pennsylvania: 7,160
14 - New York: 6,679
15 - Colorado: 6,048
16 - Oregon: 5,509
17 - Maryland: 5,429
18 - Tennessee: 5,193
19 - Ohio: 5,066
20 - Nevada: 4,816

A few northern states in there, but not many...

And, yeah, that LA number was a typo... thanks, JustBNme

oh yes my friends. we have plenty plenty tundras here in hawaii. and yes toyota dominates a huge portion of the truck scene.

i was already called to schedule an appointment to bring my baby in, problem is my front tires are cupped pretty bad. although i never rotated them, started cupping way fast, im sure they are way to worn to properly align the truck w/o replacing them. in other words i gotta get new tires 1st or rotate the backs to the front. till then ill be ditching servco.

anyone know if there is a time limit on the recall service?
