well im wanting to get the ipod interface so i can use my ipod in my 06 DBL Cab Tundra with the factory jbl 6 speaker w/single cd player. question is - which one do i get?

USA SPEC PA11-TOY for $160.00 or USA SPEC DFTOY for $69.00 or the USA spec pa-12?

And to those who have em, is it just plug and play behind the indash unit?
Can i still use the CD player when ipod is not in use?

I am also curious on whether or not this is going to work. I have the JBL system with the 6 disc (in dash) changer. Has anyone tried this combination?

There is enough info on here for you to learn how to remove the stock head unit if you do search-btw its not hard- remove the screws behind the HVAC knobs-then the screw behind each vent on the bezel. simply tilt it so you can see the screws at the top. Then just pull the bezel out-then you will have to remove 4 10mm ( I think) bolts to get the head unit out- Pull out-plug in-and ur on your way.

I thought they didn't work if you have factory NAV w/ indash CD player? Which model head unit do you have? If it does work, I might have found my solution.

So, some of these "Read Before You Buy" tips:
What you need to know - These are from Crutchfield
» Factory radio must have a button labeled "DISC". - I have this
» Vehicle must NOT have the factory navigation system. - I have no navigation
» The factory radio must not have a built-in CD changer. - I have the built-CD changer
» Adapter plugs into the factory radio.
» Factory stereo must not have Rear Seat Entertainment system. - I also have this - not the DVD player

Does anyone else have this combination and does it work?
