Hello, everyone... I hope someone here can help me out. I got my '06 Sequoia in November (6 months ago). It had the hatch latch issue, which I repaired, the hatch window guides were rotted out (odd, since there isn't any rust on the hatch itself) - and I replaced those, too. Everything was working great. Fast forward to 2 days ago. I tried to put the window up, and got nothing but a noise from inside the hatch. I got out and looked, and found the window shattered down inside the hatch. The glass somehow made it's way down under the latch cover and into the latch mechanism so the hatch wouldn't open. I had to cut the cover off of it and then basically ruin a new latch to get it open... I found the guides that ride in the channels on either side have rotted and failed. I got everything apart, and found both passenger and driver side guides broke. In trying to remove the bolts that hold the regulator and related hardware to the nylon channels that glue to the glass, the encapsulated nuts twisted out of the nylon.
Does the new glass include these nylon channels? Where can I source the driver side guide wheel?
Can the brackets that attach the regulator to the nylon channels be replaced independently, or do I have to buy a whole regulator? The regulator is in perfect shape otherwise.
I can't seem to find anything but complete regulators, and they don't specify what pieces actually come with them, the same for the glass - they seem to just show stock photos. I need to keep my costs down as much as possible. Thanks for any help!
