Anybody else have problems with an AGM battery??? I have been planning on upgrading to an AGM, but then I ran across this thread.

Anyone have any luck upgrading the alternator???

What are the current alternator upgrade options for us?
I have Sears Die Hard AGM battery for approx. 2 yrs now and it works very well. I also have an upgrade 270 amps alternator in my garage waiting for me to put it on. I got it from National Starters and Alternators

Hoping you're still looking into this or found a final solution.
What was the difference going from the inline 2200-2500 resistor to the linear pot and resistor? Less voltage increase?

I've got a camper on my Tundra with a AGM battery - which was supposed to be charging with the trailer plug. Thankful that my Solar is keeping it juiced because the plug is only putting out 12.7V. I was going to route heavier gauge wires to the camper battery when I came across this thread.

Need to run some wire man, you shouldn't be charging a battery off of your trailer plug. Too much current for the wire that Toyota uses for the trailer plug.
