What year and wheel size? There is a TRD BBK that was for the Tundra and should fit. I think there was one for sale on here recently. If you have an early car you have a 199mm wide pad. Later the moved to a 231mm pad but usedthe same rotor.

 

Mine is a 2001- I noticed the change around 2003.

I did send a message to the guy selling that Tundra TRD kit.

I would assume that most tundra/sequoia parts up to 2006 or so would potentially fit- any stock (not the $$ TRD kit) brakes that were significantly upgraded on any of those vehicles?

I am running 20" wheels and could fit a very very large rotor.

At the least, if I need new calipers anyways I could run the "later" ones and some much better pads/rotors than I have now. 265/75/20s aren't so bad to get moving, but I'd prefer better stopping power. Heck, one of my other cars will stop from 60 in under 110 feet!

 

I would definitely look at moving to the larger calipers at least. Yours were seemed inadequate.

I did the caliper change myself 3 years ago or more with instructions and DIY found here on this site. Was a simple bolt on upgrade with minor trimming of the dust shield with a Dremel for clearance. Easy, peasy.

 

Were you happy with the improvement? I'm still on the fence about doing it vs. waiting for a used big brake kit to show up somewhere.
