It depends on what you want to do. If you later decide you want it to look like you just bought it, then all you have to do is peel off the plasti-dip and there you go. Plasti-dip is an inexpensive way to change your vehicle and its not permanent. It also cost fractions of the price then it would to powdercoat it. It is very durable in my experience. My chrome on my wheels have been dipped for over a year and it looks like I did it yesterday.why plasti-dip? is it better than paint or primer?
