I know there are plenty of threads on this topic, but not finding the answer I'm looking for. Considering the pro-comp 3/1 level kit. The front lift consist of a 3" spacer that sits on top of the factory strut assembly. It seems to be the most simple as it just bolts on top. Are there any advantages/disadvantages of this setup compared to other kits that use a spacer that is sandwiched between the spring top and top strut plate other than the extra work to disassemble the strut body? If anyone has this installed, is there any concern with the angle or added stress to the upper ball joint. I just don't want to go to a full suspension kit requiring the front crossmember to be cut out.
