Has anyone bought a bed mat for the Tundra DC? If so where did you buy from and how much? I called a couple dealers in the area and the prices are all over the place and one is telling me that Toyota doesn't make a Bed Mat for the DC.
How much did you pay?tundrafire said:Toyota still hasn't figured this one out. When they do, they'll sell many more factory rubber bed mats. I posted this in Feb. after I got my '05 DC 4x4. The bed mat for the AC will fit the DC perfectly. The footprint of the bed floor in the AC is exactly the same as the DC. I was able to examine them side by side when I went to visit my old AC. I took a tape measure to both beds, determined them to be the same, and took my chances in buying a bed mat from Toyota. I installed it in the parking lot of the dealership and found out that it fit absolutely perfectly. Take this info to your local dealer and educate the parts deptartment staff.:tu:

Any links? Thanks!docsg said:I bought a well made bed mat from an after marketing accessories shop for $65 made to fit my 05' Tundra AC. It fit perfectly. If the DC and AC have the same bed footprint, you can beat the Toyo dealer's price by at least 25% (or more).

Great info Thank you much!docsg said:I bought it from Auto Trim Design, 233 Gunn Road, Montgomery, AL, 36117 (Tel: 334-272-0842). I bought it for my 03' Tundra AC and transfered it to my O5' Tundra AC in July when I traded. After two years it still looked brand new. It is made of a thick rubber compound and custom fit the Tundra bed. He had to order it but got it from his distributor in 3 days. He also got my Husky Liners and Westin Platinum Series step rails for the truck. I had to get new Husky Liners for the 05' (Toyota changed the interior slightly) and they transfered my step rails for a small charge. I found my original invoice and the mat was $59.95 in 03' so I figured they would be about $65 now. The shop sells and installs accessories for all the major brands of trucks and high-end passenger and sports cars in the Montgomery area. I know that chain auto parts stores can also get the mats (if not in stock) for about the same price. Toyota is just buying them from some aftermarket manufacturer and possibly putting their stamp on them. Ordering the mat on-line would probably be prohibitive because of their weight (thus shipping charge) and it's bulky to handle. Sorry I couldn't give you a link but they are readily available in many stores.
