I have a 2008 DC 5.7L 4x4. I started my truck today and the 4 hi and 4 lo lights were flashing. The ABS, check engine, TPMS, and E-brake lights were on solid. The speedo isn't working. The 4x4 won't engage. None of the air controls will work. The gear shifter is locked and the temp/fuel comsumption computer isn't working.

The key fob didn't work either. But after surfing this forum I replaced the 7.5 fuse and it now works.

The truck can be driven safely, all the headlights and turn signals work.

Any suggestions? I'll be taking it in to the dealership tomorrow and would like to have some idea of what's wrong.

Thanks in advance.

So changing the fuse fixed everything? If it did I'd give it some time to see if it blows another fuse. If it doesn't blow another fuse then I wouldn't worry about it.

I dropped my truck off at the dealership. They said it's faulty ABS actuator and all the sensors that are malfunctioning are connected to that faulty actuator. I should get it back tomorrow. Hopefully that solves everything.
OK..... that makes sense I guess.
I will add it to my "lights" spreadsheet.
Thanks for the info!

Mendonsy, are you the keeper of the light spreadsheet? If so, it was your spreadsheet that keyed me in on the 7.5 fuses. Prior to checking the fuses the 4Hi / 4Lo lights were flashing in unison. Once I replaced the 7.5 fuse under the hood the key fob worked and the 4 hi/lo started flashing alternating. At that point I brought it in. There was another blown 7.5 fuse under the steering column, which the dealer replaced.

I picked up my truck yesterday and I have had no problems.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll try to figure out which two fuses those were. You don't happen to remember what they were labeled??
Here's a link to the fuse list:

The fuse under the kick plate I believe was the AC. I don't remember which one in the engine compartment. But when I swapped it out the key fob worked and the 4hi/4lo went from syncronized flashing to alternating flashing. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
