Does anyone else have 2 small dents on each side of their bed, about 16" above the wheel well, and about 12" apart. They are barely noticable, but on both sides I have 2 little dimples, in the same exact spots.

With the large area and thin metal, they are magnets for dents. Fortunately they are also quite accessible and can be fixed with PDR.
I agree...I have a very thin and crease-like dent above my driver side wheel well...Not too noticeable but still annoys me whenever I come across it. Also have a little dimple dent thing in the metal front bumper near the plastic in the center...Probably caused by a rock off the road or something.

I also have several dimple dents in the bed sides, on both sides.seems every time I wash the truck I come across another.
My bumper dimple dent is on the back bumper. looks like a trailer hitch just touched me backing up. Hardly see it unless the lights right. Still annoying tho.
I try to park well away from everyone in lots. Grrrr...

Are you asking if this in an inherent thing? Seems odd to me that you would have these on both sides in the exact same spots...
Also is this on the inside of the bed or on the rear exterior panel?

No dents yet:) well except that damn rear bumper that got hit by the 1 ton van (@ 500 miles) that got replaced though. O and that front bumper that hit a parked trailer...oops:blushed: but my new bumper is awsome:tu:
I do have ALOT of scratches from all that camping...dayuum trees are always right in the middle of the trails, or are those not trails :confuseda:lol

Sounds like we have the same exact marks...4 on the bed, and one on the bumper from hitches... man i really wish they would of used better metal, its such a good truck, but man every time i turn around I have a new dent. I know that the whole automotive industry went to thinner metal, but I wish they were like the old Fords, man you could hit those with a hammer and not get a dent(overexageration). But you can Sh#$ in one hand and wish in the other see which one fills up first...

Yeah, I am wondering if its an inherant problem, because its akward that their on the same exact spots on both sides. I mean I could understand one side, but both same spots? It is on the exterior panel too btw.

Is it possible that you stood up on the tire to reach something inside the deck or something similar and your knees (or someone else's) put those dents there? Maybe the dealer installing something? Just a thought.....

Yeah, I have one too. But I know where mine came from. I was pulling something rather heavy out of the bed and leaned into the bed. A popping sound was made, but it didn't look like anything was wrong. Until I looked in the mirror. I can see light deflecting ever soo slightly in that area. Almost un-noticable when looking straight at it...but everytime I look in my rear view...arrrgggghhhh:mad:!!!
