a simple Q for all toyota truck/tacoma owners i have a 2004 tacoma x cab... this is the 3rd toyota i have had... started with a 86 moved into a new 94 then a new 04 i have noticed that the driver side seems to lean a little about 1 1/2 lower this has been a issue on all of my trucks even stock they seem to lean a little... and before you go there no i am not fat weigh in at 230 so it's not my fat @ss.... i have lifted them all 3" body and 2" suspn. and still had the lean... does anyone have this issue.... it doesn't affect the ride it just looks off when it sits.... and i like things perfect and this drives me nuts sometimes...... the wife tells me just don't look at it.... that don't work....LOL

We're not talking about PreTacos - we're talking about 1995.5+ Tacomas, and the 'Taco Lean' is a standard feature of the model line. The driver side sits about 1/2" lower than the passenger side in most cases, but differences of up to 1" are not uncommon.

And yes - most of the 'lean' on Tacomas is induced by the additional weight on the driver side. Removing the battery and fuel tank has been demonstrated to pretty much 'level' a 1995.5 - 2004 Taco.
