Does anyone have the specs on the eclipse bec-105??? Mostly what I would like to know if the camera has mirror image capability, wide angle field of view, is it CCD or CMOS, does it have infrared night vision, and how much cable comes with it and can you get extra cable if needed. I own a 35ft fifth wheel camper I want to install the camera on.

Not much tech info regarding that camera. The instruction sheet I downloaded but was limited in scope. I know for a fact it is reverse view and it is wide angle. someone said it is 110 degree. Who knows. there is no extension cable,(I'm sure one could be fabricated) but the exsting cable is a better than a car length long. The connector is eclipse specific and I believe it is a 6volt feed.
It is NOT night vision capable. In low light it goes to B+W .It is 1/4 CCD.
And I heard it is not great quality for the money ($239.00 average price) There are so many better cameras out there with night vision for more competitive price.

Also I heard durability was a major complaint ...they leak and short out.

But it is a plug and play for the majority of Eclipse Navs out there.

Just my spin on the bec-105.
Would I get one. Yes for the right price only. But they are rarely seen discounted. It seems easy to mount on the back of my H/L versus a bullet cam.

I know for a fact you can splice the wire and make it longer. Whether the signal will degrade is another question. The quality is not that great but it does get the job done. The supplied wire would definitely not be enough for your application. It does have a break in the wire (about the middle) that made ir easier to fish through the 4RUNNER. As far as the angle, my camera is nest to the handle and is pointed down to the bumper. I easily see both ends of the car. it is a fish-eyed lens but I am not sure of the exact angle.

That says it comes with 39.25' of cable.
