Thanks Jumbo Jet. That site is pretty cool but there are too many options. I think I'm more confused now than before. I'm thinking maybe dark graphite single tone or two tone with grey insert.

Check my photo gallery for two-tone leather interior on a slate metallic. I started a thread on it a few weeks ago as well.

 

I have been bouncing between wetokole & katzkin for a couple weeks. I finally decided to go with the katzkin's, but their website seems outdated.

Are they still in business?

I ask because the website only has up through 05' model years. I called their sales number 3 times today (morning, mid day, and afternoon), no answer. Left messages, no response. I sent an email and no response.

Just curious if anyone else has had this experience recently? Or more importantly . . if they have gotten through . .whats the trick?

 

Also . . anyone with Katzkin's . . how do they hold up to dogs?

My main purpose is that I have a boxer, and I am tired of trying to get the little dog hairs out of the cloth seats.

That looks really good. If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to do the whole truck. I like it alot!

 

how much do they run?

 

I just went plain and simple, and matched my grey with the grey cloth seats that were originally in the truck. You can see my pix, in my signature. Truthfully, I wished I had gone a little darker.

I'm very happy with the leather and the install. I believe I paid around $1175 for everything (including labor).

Forgot to mention...
My installer gave me a swatch with hundreds of different colors. I kept it until I found the color I wanted, then returned it to them when I had the install done.

Ask your installer for a swatch set, so you can color match.

 

Been looking at Katzkins hard myself. Have a Slate Met CM, 2007. Went to the shop and looked at all the swatches. I really wanted to do a 2 tone also. Just could not convince myself it looked good. Color match on mine to the black interior was "dark graphite". There was a post w/ pics on here of a black/graphite seat with grey inserts......did not like it myself. Price here in Houston is $1200 installed for one color. Afetr the two tone adder and perforations in the insert it was going to be like $1500.

Ask the guys in your Katz shop to look up the OEM colors for the Tundra. They gave me the names from Toyota specs and the matching Katz names were nearly identical. Watch the grey.....it's got a slight blue hint in it.

I like the product and will be going straight dark graphite. I wanted a snazzy two tone but just couldn't get comfortable with the look.

Bucko: I have Katzkin leather in my current vehicle and it holds up great to my Golden Retriever (no scratches at all).

RRcCleary: I noticed the side bolsters on your seats are black but all the other ones I'v seen are grey. Are yours stock? I ordered slate metalic ext and black int but have not seen the truck yet so I don't know what color the bolsters are.

Those little stiff bristles are a pain in the *** huh? Every article of clothing I have has his hair in it, and he doesn't sleep in the bed or on the sofa . They just fly everywhere. Check out my photo gallery for pictures of my leather seats as well as my boxer. Personally, I lift the rear seats of my double cab and he rides back there on the floor. I also have weathertech floor liners front and rear that help keep the carpet clean from Mr. Muddy Paws as we like to call him.

p.s. I had leather seats in my RX8 and he sat on them in the rear. I had one or two scratches that were barely visible. Just cover the seats with a sheet and you'll be fine. Leather is very tough.

FWIW, I just heard back from Katzkin leathers and their sales site "autoleathers.com". they informed me that they do NOT have patters for the 07 Tundra, but they were nice enough to refer me to another site who does do the 07 Tundra. . .leatherseats.com

Ivory as in white? White leather will show dirt and creases like crazy. It will also yellow over time. My brother had a mitsu 3000gt with white leather, and after a while it looked off-white with lots of dirty creases.

It ran around 1300 for the leather on the two buckets and the bench seat in the rear of my CM. I am really happy with the quality of it and 7 months after install it is holding up great and still looks like new.

Right now I have been looking at the Clazzio ones from the pics everyone is posted. They dont have dealers outside of CA, but I called one of the dealerships, and they said they would ship them to me.

 

This is the black with gray stipes matched to the Toyota gray originally in the truck. I have since changed the headrest to all black which toned it down a bit. I love the red TRD embroidery though and the stripe look has definitely grown on me. Matches my gray and black plastic perfectly.
