Hello I am hoping that someone will be able to make suggestions of what should be the next course of action to resolve what appears to be an erroneous code P0031. I have replace with both oxy sensors (oe denso) bank one sensor one and bank one senor two and this did not resolve the problem with a P0031 code reappearing after having cleared the codes from the ECU... I have platinum BKR6EP plugs that have about 60,000 miles on them. The engine runs fine. My truck is a 2003 Tundra extended cab with 155,000 miles. V8 4.7 litre engine. I plan to locate the PCM (ecu) and check the connections next.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to check your wires for continuity all the back to the ECM. The wires are bit exposed and could have been tugged by something at some point. You can also hook up a scanner that captures live data and monitor what is being sent to ECM by the O2 sensor.
