So I got the suspension installed and you are absolutely correct. It eats bumps for breakfast and overall is a lot smoother on the road so thank you many times over for figuring this out. Quick question for all of you, with the new setup there is a particular on-ramp that I take with a tight curve that now activates the slip indicator light. Have any of you had this come on?

Resurrecting this old thread.

I just ordered this setup and having it installed tomorrow.
If I have the fronts set to the 3rd notch (not the top), is the rear going to look considerably higher? I am a little worried it may have that nose down look, but I don't want to risk blowing out cv boots even with the diff drop kit. Thoughts anyone?

I'm planning to do the same set up at everyone so I can put a '33 tire, Bilstein 5100 for all four and 2862 for the rears. How much lift would I get if I were to put it on the fourth notch? Should I be worried about ball joints/uca? I have a 2w 2003 limited Sequoia. I'm New here, any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I just purchased a 2005 Sequoia 4X2 and it has already the Bilstein set up to the top notch with BF KO 285/70R17 and spidertrax spacers and it drives flawlessly! I am replacing the tires for 275/70 R17 General Grabbers ATx on the original factory wheels, I just have the question about the angle of the rack and Pinion linkage as I have another Sequoia in the factory height and the angle is almost inexistent, total lift is 2.4" over the standard height on the lifted one and I will like to know what is the limit height lift before changing other suspension parts?

As a long time Jeep user I know that for a Cherokee the limit is 3" before having to modify pitman arm, sway bar and other parts if I pass the 3" height limit.

2.5'' to 3'' is about the limit in the front without putting too much stress on the stock CV joints, control arms, and swaybar endlinks. The steering components seems to be fine though, I haven't heard of anyone having issues with their rack, pitman arms, or tie rods.

Thanks for the answer DiScoTeknix! It's a relief as I was worried about damaging any steering component with this lift.

It just fits! A perfect fit in the garage...the first time after the tires and lift I was holding my breath! So happy with this setup, it exceeds my expectations. It sits perfectly, this post from another Tundra Solutions member helped me quite a bit: "A 5100 on the top setting with factory coils will match perfectly with 2862 rear coils in terms of lift (2.5" up front and 2" rear, reducing factory rake just a bit)." There was very little settle; the 5100s are extremely beefy and so far on very bumpy/rocky gravel roads with big potholes the Bilsteins have eaten those bumps for breakfast, it is very smooth. My significant other (who is very picky) loves them too, she says that "it feels like floating" but not in a seasick way, very stable. Kids in the back seats over long trips do not get seasick, which is a big thumbs up and testament to the stability of the 5100s and 2862s. I have already taken a long highway trip as well and even at high speeds (85MPH) the ride is extremely smooth and balanced. I feel that this option is ideal for the Sequoia and the price was a ridiculously good value. Thanks so much for the recommendations. 4wheelparts wouldn't initially sell me the FJ Cruiser Bilsteins (for rear) saying that they were not for my vehicle. I can attest that they fit perfectly. The installer said that on the top settings (both front and rear) combined with the 2862s, that the height was absolutely perfect as if made for this application. At first with the lift and the larger tires I was taken aback (it seemed quite a lot higher than I had anticipated). After a few days I began to absolutely love it, now I find the height I had before way too low (the setup now is the way I always wanted it). Look is aggressive but not overdone at all, I have had a ton of comments and I feel very confident for my extended roadtrip and backcountry camping this summer.
Did you change the upper control arm when you leveled the front?

I can't seem to find the Bilstein 24-188265 or 24-261425 front shocks anywhere. Several online sellers say they have them, but when I call to verify inventory, they don't. Any suggestions on where to get them? I'm thinking of using Rough Country N3 2.5" lift struts instead. Has anyone tried them?

I have a 1.75 lift about to be done on my 03 , anyone have more tips when using stock sway bar endlinks on both front and rear, I read earlier comments saying it shouldn't put too much stress?

Superseded part numbers below. I spoke with Bilstein tech, he said no major changes to the actual parts

33-187174 changed to 33-313146 5100 SERIES FJ CRUISER REAR SHOCKS
24-188265 changed to 24-261425 5100 SERIES TUNDRA/SEQUOIA FRONT SHOCKS
