Maylon, I have about 35K miles on 'em right now. I'm shooting for 40, and aren't afraid to run 'em "bald" unless there's snow on the ground or I'm driving 900 miles in the rain. I will be switching them out before winter, regardless of miles and condition.

Those Nitto Trail Grapplers look baddddd. I saw 'em on a Jeep in a 295/70/18 and they're massive compared to my BFGs. They make 'em look tiny.

Yeah no question they will be my next tires well unless they are stupid expensive. I'm surprised thats all the miles you got out of the BFG's. I hear guys on here that claim they're at 50-60 with plenty of tread left. Either way I drive less than 10k a year so I'm not too worried about it.

Ah, youd' be set then. THey're a great tire, and you can't sacrifice traction when all it takes is one slip up to have the truck gone from you.

The Nittos should go for around $260 a tire (online). Might be able to get 'em in store for even cheaper than that.

The BFGs are quite a bit more expensive.

OK - I read the whole thread and still am not sure as to the answer to the original question - can I put a LT305/65R-18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO on a stock 07CM without the lift? I don't really care about the mileage, odometer, etc..... Just worried about the interference.....

By the way some of you guys have most excellent looking trucks -

Yes. It will be close but yes they will fit.

I ran those tires for 20K miles and quite honestly was a bit disappointed. I've had Toyo AT's for 35K miles since then; much better IMO. My Toyos are 35" tall and will NOT fit without some kind of lift, but smaller sizes are available that will fit stock.

My Toyo 285/75R18 fit fine on stock TRD wheels with no lift. I have an occasional rub on the sway bar, but that's it. Rarely happens. Had them on for 25k miles so far.

Still worried about fit? Look at the specs on Nitto 295/70R18. 285/75, 295/70, and 305/65 are all incrementally wider or taller than each other.

I will say it again the tundra is a pretty big, long truck and needs bigger tires to look in propotion IMO. The 275's look tiny on it and 285's are not much bigger.....soooo
I agree just look at how the newer extended cab long bed non DRW chevy hd trucks look... they look absolutely ugly and miserable because of how tiny the wheels look in the rear...

wish i could find a better pic showing how horrible it looks lol

Yeah they look REALLY BAD with those stock tires, its almost comical.

Looks like a fat lady on stilts. :angrywife: :twocents:

It is comical. I saw a 2500HD Chevy work truck last week up close. The rear wheelwell was cavernous compared to the tires. The tire was only a LT245/75R16. Couldn't believe it. The 255/70R18's on my DCLB weren't much better. Lots happier now with the 285/75R18.

I am amazed that you can run the Toyo's without a lift! I have the same tires, and although I haven't tried, I didn't think they would fit without a lift, good to know.
