what I want to know is why the 2.5" is cranked all the way and the coils wrap a full seven times making it shorter over there 2.0", while the 2.0" is 9 coils and not cranked all the way, doesn't look right. And yeah I know less coils on the 2.5" to give a not so harsh ride since its stiffer.

Question:

How do you install / remove these yourself? I have a older pair I purchased and was able to install them a few years back using the old motorcylce tie down strap method and a floor jack. Back then I had the advantage of truck lift which greatly helped in the matter.

I realized I made BIG mistake and installed the right side with the valve facing to far back to be able to fill / check the nitrogen level. So I tried to use several different compressors to get them off. No luck. I would like to own a coil compressor so I can take these things off someday in the future in case they need a rebuild etc. Where can I get one that works with the RR SAW?

Also, do you sell guages to check the nitrogen level?

Lastly, my spanner wrench tip bent at a 45 degree angle making it worthless. Where can I get another one of those?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Easiest thing to do is to disconnect the sway bar link and lower ball joint. Then the coilover will fall out.

When you go to charge these shocks, they should be fully extended.

Autozone rents out compressors, compatible with 2.5" shocks.

Gauges can be purchased to measure Nitrogen. I believe Baja Concepts sells them and spanner wrenches. I bought my spanner wrench from King Shocks. ORW has em online as well. Mind you these are the nice thick billet alluminum, not the little thin wrenches.

No Autozone around here. Who makes the compressor? I will check oaut Baja Concepts and ORW.

If you drop the shocks out are they easy to put back in the same way?

Thanks.
